BARBARA KASTELEC, born in 1976, has completed her studies in painting, new media and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana in year 2001.
She perfected her studies in the field of painting and philosophy at the Academy of Fine Arts, and Design in Ljubljana, Slovenia in year 2004 and obtained the title Master of arts.
Same year she participate as an art leader at an international project Let's realise the White Paper trough Art, which took place in Wroclaw (Poland), within the framework of program EU Youth for Europe.
In addition to her independent practice, she has been working as a workshop leader since 2005. She is exhibiting in Slovenia and abroad since 1997.
Her artistic production includes fields of painting, illustration and video.
